Hand-woven sheep's wool cushion made on a pedal loom, following a traditional technique from Teotitlán del Valle. The geometric design is built directly into the weave, creating a firm, compact, and highly defined surface. In this piece, the lemon-yellow tone stands out against a warm orange background. The color is achieved through a combination of cochineal and pericón, with a small touch of black sapote (zapote negro) that adds depth and balances the chromatic composition. The result is a luminous and vibrant cushion, where the colors interact with each other and reflect the richness of the natural dyeing process, integrated directly into the fiber. Conceived as a functional decorative piece, it brings energy, contrast, and an artisanal accent to contemporary or nature-inspired interiors.
